Filming a wedding at Galway Downs
Filming a wedding at Galway Downs in Temecula: vows on a garden path under bougainvillea and an old sycamore, and a reception that turns to blue light. Notes from Denis + Cadin's film.
Denis + Cadin
Galway Downs, Temecula
Denis + Cadin read their vows on a garden path under bougainvillea and an old sycamore. The ceremony location was great: the tree's shade kept faces even through the ceremony, and the wooden arbor nearby made an easy spot for wedding-party photos.
The standout moments for me were the walk and the first touch.
Reception
Galway Downs is a great venue, and the reception was great too. Inside, the lighting went blue for the dances, which gives the evening a completely different look from the garden.
Every venue is different
Every venue is different. I adapt coverage to the venue, the couple and their budget, backyards included.
