Kris and Pearl were married at Awaken Church in Bay Ho, San Diego, in August 2026. They prayed back to back before seeing each other, were married on the stage with their monogram on the screen, and moved outside for a reception under string lights. Awaken is my home church, and Kris and Pearl's too.

The day
Before the ceremony, Kris and Pearl stood back to back and prayed, holding hands without turning around. Photo and film covered it at the same time.
The ceremony happened on the stage at Awaken, with cowboy hats in the wedding party and their monogram on the screen behind them. Stage lighting made every angle usable, so we could stay wide and still catch faces.
The reception moved outside under string lights, and the dance floor filled up fast, including a money dance.
Awaken Church is my home church, and it's Kris and Pearl's too; we're all plugged in there. It's also where I started making films, so filming their wedding there meant filming at home.
