With me, a San Diego wedding film costs $3,495 to $7,995 for a full wedding day (2027 Rates). The Elopement Film is $2,000. Photo and film together start at $2,495 for a hybrid elopement and $6,495 for a Full Team. Here is exactly what changes as the price goes up.
The four tiers, side by side
- — Elopement Film — $2,000: Up to 4 hours of coverage; Single camera; 2–3 minute film. For courthouse ceremonies, micro-weddings and vow renewals.
- — The Vow — $3,495: 8 hours, 2 cameras; 4–5 minute highlight film; Full edited ceremony; 1 vertical social cut.
- — The Covenant — $4,995: 8 hours, 3 cameras, with a second camera operator for ceremony and reception; 6–8 minute highlight film; Ceremony + toasts edit; Drone (where airspace and venue allow), pro audio and 2 vertical social cuts; 1-minute teaser within 72 hours.
- — The Legacy — $7,995: 10 hours, lead + 2nd videographer; 8–12 minute feature film; Full ceremony, reception and toasts; Drone, slow motion, advanced grading and a video teaser within 72 hours; “Words for the Two of You” interview film (5–10 min).
What actually drives the price
Three things: hours of coverage, how many cameras are running, and how long and finished the final film is. More cameras means the vows are seen from more than one angle without anyone repeating anything. A longer film means the toasts and speeches can play in full instead of in fragments.
